Greetings and welcome to my website. I was born and raised in New York City. I studied art at the High School of Art & Design in Manhattan where I majored in Advertising Design and Illustration. I took classes in a number of different areas, including oil painting, photography, packaging design, life drawing, and illustration to name a few. I was privileged to study under some of the best teachers the industry had to offer, many of whom were still active in their respective professions.
Photography has been my passion for many years. Whether I’m on the street, shooting concerts or events, in a library, supermarket, at a wedding, or simply traveling on the road, I’m taking pictures. I am a published photographer. My work has appeared in the New York Daily News and the New York Post, periodicals, in collaborative “coffee table books,” CLTShooters (street photography magazine), and several jazz magazines as well, to name a few.
Elliot Erwitt, the great American photographer, once said of photography, “All the technique in the world doesn’t compensate for the inability to notice.” As you look through the images on my website, I hope you walk away with the opinion that I was at least somewhere in the ballpark of Elliot’s deft observation that technique can never supercede the ability to notice.
Thank you for visiting!
